Wellington High School Homecoming Parade Road Closures
Wellington High School’s annual homecoming parade will take place Friday, October 13th.
The parade staging area will be at Wellington Landings Middle School and the procession will begin promptly at 5: 00 p.m.
Temporary road closures start at 4: 55 p.m., with west bound traffic being shut down from Goldenrod to Binks Forest Drive while the parade passes through. Westbound traffic will be diverted onto Goldenrod and back to Wellington Trace on Hyacinth. Eastbound traffic flows may continue, but may not pass the parade until they get to Wellington High School.
Please plan your route accordingly during this event to minimize delays in your travel time. Intersections will be immediately re-opened once the parade passes by. The parade is expected to last approximately one hour.
Wellington’s Public Works Department and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office will assist with maintenance of traffic and temporary road closures.
